Job summary

The Branch Manager oversees all branch operations, ensures policy compliance, drives profitability, and mentors staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of banking experience is preferred, including staff leadership responsibilities.
• Leadership and branch operations experience preferred.
• This position requires dealing with internal and external customers in a positive, quality customer service manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and oversight for all branch operational functions
• Manage branch profitability, growth, and performance metrics, including retention and expansion of deposits, budgeting, and development of customer relationships
• Coach and develop branch employees to achieve service, sales, and operational excellence
• Analyze local market trends and identify sales opportunities to drive branch growth
• Address employee performance needs and customer satisfaction issues to maintain service standards
• Ensure adherence to bank policies, regulatory requirements, security procedures, and risk mitigation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, businesses, and community partners
• Engage in community involvement and business development activities to expand branch visibility
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while protecting the bank’s interest

Education
