Job summary

VyStar Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Florida to coach, develop, and lead branch staff toward growth goals while delivering exceptional member service. You will work with the Branch VP to implement branch strategies, create annual plans, and maintain operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes mentoring, staff development, and collaboration with HR to ensure compliant, high-quality operations and community engagement.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma/GED is required.
• Associate’s degree is preferred.
• 3+ years in a customer service, sales, community service, military service, or leadership role is required.
• 2 years’ experience in a lead role within a financial institution is preferred.
• Strong communication, mentoring and service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Branch Vice President to ensure day-to-day operations and profitability.
• Train, coach, and develop staff to meet VyStar’s standards and commitments.
• Model VyStar excellence and lead succession planning within the branch.
• Collaborate with HR for recruiting and training; conduct regular performance reviews.
• Lead team huddles, sales meetings, and product/service training for staff.
