Job summary

VyStar Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to coach and develop branch staff, driving growth and excellent member service. You will partner with the Branch Vice President to create and execute branch plans in a fast-paced environment, fostering strong member and partner relationships.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and adherence to VyStar's standards of excellence while working to maintain community trust and engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years in a customer service, sales, community service, military service, or leadership role.
• 2 years' experience in a lead role within a financial institution preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong teaching and mentoring skills with a commitment to quality service.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop branch employees to meet individual, branch and organizational goals.
• Deliver exceptional member service experiences and maintain operational excellence.
• Collaborate with the Branch VP to create and implement branch strategies and objectives.
• Lead daily huddles, weekly meetings, and staff training to improve product knowledge and service.
