Job summary

Westerra Credit Union seeks an Assistant Branch Manager in Denver to lead a busy front-line team, coach staff, and partner with the Branch Manager to deliver outstanding service and financial success for members.

You will drive sales, manage branch operations, and promote digital solutions while maintaining a strong culture and compliance. This role is on-site at the Central Park location.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in financial services or retail
• 1 year of supervision/leadership experience preferred
• 1 year of consumer lending experience preferred
• External candidates: strong client-facing and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Integrates the Westerra Experience (WX) into daily branch activities to build relationships and drive sales
• Drives a high-performance culture with goals tied to data insights and budgets
• Regularly meets or exceeds monthly sales goals while maintaining exceptional member service
• Coaches staff on member interactions and service behaviors to help members achieve financial goals
• Oversees scheduling, cash handling, audits, and branch operations to ensure efficiency
• Educates members and staff on digital solutions and new offerings, including mobile & online banking
• Represents Westerra at business development and community events
• Maintains policy compliance and confidentiality, with attention to industry trends
