Job summary

Texans Credit Union in Dallas, TX is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Forest Lane branch. You will help lead a sales-focused team, drive member service excellence, and manage branch operations to deliver a superior experience.

You will assist in supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations while developing staff to exceed performance metrics and service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of sales and service experience in a retail or financial institution environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a bank, credit union branch, finance company, or equivalent management experience.
• Successful completion of a drug screen, credit check and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and maintaining a sales and service culture within the branch.
• Maintain and lead a highly-motivated, well-trained team that consistently offers excellent service to all members.
• Support the maintenance of effective employee relations within the branch.
• Maintain a strong sense of ownership related to the branch.
• Monitor key product penetration and sales metrics to ensure profitable and sound business practices as well as service quality.
• Apply and evaluate security and audit policies and procedures; ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations.
• Track and report on branch activity, including transactions, teller accuracy, loan volume, and new accounts.
• Lead branch sales, including loan applications, processing and closing, opening new accounts and servicing existing members.
• Ensure ongoing training to increase knowledge of topics and skillsets.
• Maintain staffing schedules for efficient branch operations.
