Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Lead Teller in Maine to serve as a trusted advisor in branch operations, identify and resolve client servicing issues, and help move clients to a banker for deeper financial wellness conversations.

You will lead teller scheduling, coaching, and ensure compliance with regulatory and security controls while observing daily branch procedures and supporting onboarding and training. Saturday work may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years demonstrated superior client relationship skills.
• 3+ years experience in cash handling.
• Proficiency with Windows-based PC and calculator.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and foster teamwork.
• Strong organizational skills while managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead Teller responsibilities in branch operations and scheduling.
• Identify and resolve complex client servicing issues.
• Coach tellers to improve client experience and efficiency.
• Assist in transitioning clients to a Banker for financial wellness.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support branch manager with onboarding and training.
• Work on Saturdays as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and balancing.
