Job summary

The Penske Maintenance Coordinator at our Auburn, MA facility oversees branch inventory, procurement and related administrative processes to support maintenance efficiency, customer satisfaction and profitability.

Responsibilities include managing parts and battery inventory, cycle counts, serviceNet/AS400 usage, and coordination with the Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs, while ensuring accurate vendor payments and compliance with Penske standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• 2+ years in customer service & operations.
• 2+ years in service & parts department preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel and pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch inventory productivity and prevent losses.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels through daily parts ordering.
• Receive/store parts, update PartsNet, perform cycle counts.
• Manage battery and tire inventories; organize by specs.
• Ensure warranty items ship on time; coordinate with warranty.
• Partner with Customer Service to schedule repairs.
• Support branch financial manager with profitability data.
• Handle vendor relations and payments as required.
