Job summary

Penske maintains a centralized focus on inventory and administrative processes to boost branch maintenance efficiency, customer satisfaction and profitability. The role oversees inventory productivity and ensures timely service by coordinating with sourcing and warranty teams.

As part of the team, you will analyze operations using ServiceNet/AS400, support the branch financial manager, and manage parts, batteries, tires, and warranty items to optimize outcomes for the network.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory productivity at the branch(es) to support timely service and protect profitability.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by ordering parts via sourcing procedures with daily coordination with Centralized Parts Ordering.
• Receive and store parts in an organized, accessible manner and update PartsNet; perform frequent cycle counts to ensure availability.
• Manage new and used battery inventory and ensure tires are on hand in correct quantities and specs.
• Ensure warranty items are shipped on time and manage returns and warranty-grams with the warranty department.
• Coordinate with the Customer Service Coordinator to ensure repairs are scheduled as parts become available.
• Provide vendor support and ensure payments are processed correctly.
• Perform process analytics in areas like inventory, profitability, warranty campaigns, cycle counts, and RO reviews.
• Use systems like ServiceNet or AS400 to analyze operations and drive improvements.
• Assist the Branch Financial Manager with information that supports performance and profitability.
• Handle projects and tasks assigned by Branch Financial Manager and District Financial Manager.
