• 2 years working in service and parts department preferred.
• Agile and quick learner, enjoys collaborative projects and continuous education.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and complete Penske employment requirements (background check, drug screening).

Responsibilities

• Oversight of inventory productivity at the branch(es) for timely service support and minimizing inventory loss.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels by ordering parts via sourcing procedures ensuring on-time, defect-free deliveries.
• Receive and store parts; update PartsNet; perform frequent inventory cycle counts.
• Manage new and used battery inventory and tire stock in proper quantities.
• Ensure warranty items are shipped timely and follow up with returns and warranty-grams with the warranty department.
• Partner with Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts become available.
• Vendor support and accountability; ensure payments are processed correctly.
