• Bachelor’s degree required or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum three years of sales experience.
• Minimum two years of managerial experience or proven leadership.
• Life/Accident and Health Insurance licensing within 18 months (training provided).
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products and client relationships.
• Bi-lingual/Spanish preferred (if applicable).
• Proficient with common PC software and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with internet and email.

• Lead and coach team, manage performance, set priorities.
• Build and develop branch staff.
• Identify Retail and Business Banking client needs using M&T sales processes.
• Prospect and grow Business Banking relationships through outreach.
• Build bank presence in the community.
• Ensure compliance with policies and risk controls.
• Manage staffing interviews and hiring decisions.
• Own complex account servicing and escalations.
• Provide coaching to reduce future escalations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve issues.
• Manage loan requests up to $250,000 for Business Banking.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and corporate policies.
