Job summary

WaFd Bank is seeking a Branch Manager to drive overall branch performance, growth, and customer service excellence. You will lead a team to originate loans, grow deposits, and expand relationships with small businesses.

The role requires 5+ years in banking with supervisory experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and a proven track record in cross-selling and deposits growth. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in banking with 2-3 years in supervisory/managerial role; prior sales or client relations experience preferred.
• Proven success in small business development, deposit/loan growth, and cross-selling.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and operational procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital banking tools.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to be bonded.
