Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) in Upstate New York seeks a Branch & Community Development Manager to drive growth, supervise staff, and strengthen customer relations across retail and business banking.

You will lead strategies for deposit and loan growth, build partnerships, ensure compliance, and mentor a high-performing team to deliver exceptional service. The role requires a bachelor's in finance or business and at least six years in sales or banking, with two years of supervisory

Qualifications

Six (6) years of sales/business development experience, including three (3) years of supervisory banking experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
Notary/Mortgage Licensing or NMLS knowledge may be required.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to promote the bank’s products and services, with emphasis on deposit growth.
Lead and support branch staff to achieve growth, sales and service objectives.
Ensure compliance with laws, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Build relationships with customers, local businesses, and community organizations.
Refer loan opportunities to Bank partners and collaborate with affiliates on referrals.
Travel to training sessions and other branches as needed.
