Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Branch & Community Development Manager to drive branch growth, develop the team, and build strong customer relationships across Upstate NY, NE PA, VT and western MA.

The role emphasizes community engagement, superior service, and achievement of loan and deposit growth goals. You will lead a high‑performing branch team, ensure compliance with policies, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to expand business opportunities

Qualifications

• Education and experience required for banking and lending roles.
• Strong communication, leadership and sales capabilities.
• Knowledge of financial products and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth strategies for deposit and loan opportunities.
• Lead branch staffing, scheduling and performance discussions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and controls.
• Foster community engagement and build local partnerships.
• Oversee customer acquisition, retention and service quality.
• Collaborate with Bank affiliates to identify referrals.
