Job summary

HomeTeam Pest Defense in Houston seeks a General Manager to lead all branch operations, drive financial performance, and oversee sales and service activities. You will supervise staff, manage homebuilder relationships, and develop business strategies to meet goals while ensuring compliance with licensing and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Experience with sales, marketing, and office administration.
• Experience supervising, coaching, and developing staff.
• High level of written and verbal communication skills.
• 3 or more years’ experience in a management role.

Responsibilities

• Manage all branch operations in line with budgeted financial performance.
• Prepare operational and financial projections and develop strategies to meet goals.
• Answer questions, research problems, resolve issues and meet customer expectations.
• Prepare composite reports according to corporate requirements from subordinates' reports.
• Develop and execute an effective sales and marketing strategy.
• Manage all aspects of the homebuilder relationship at local level and coordinate with corporate.
• Create a positive work environment and attract/select qualified staff.
• Delegate duties and examine work for accuracy and policy conformance.
• Maintain appropriate certification/licensing as required by state and Region management.
• Address errors and complaints with all team members, homebuilders, and homeowners.
• Assist subordinates in performance of duties and step in when necessary.
