M&T Bank seeks a Float Teller to enhance the branch customer experience through digital engagement, lobby management, and accurate transaction processing. This role requires frequent travel between branches within the designated area to support staff and maintain service standards.

The candidate will balance transactions, address escalated issues, and guide customers to the right banking partner while adhering to AML/KYC procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience, including data entry and/or cash handling.
• Ability to travel between branches as needed.
• Proven verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational, time-management and prioritization abilities.
• Proficient with basic internet/technological tools.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to customer service standards and provide differentiated experiences.
• Educate customers with digital demonstrations and identify self-service opportunities.
• Engage in lobby management and greet customers, addressing needs.
• Accurately balance and process customer transactions per policy.
• Resolve escalated account service issues and log complaints.
• Introduce appropriate banking partners for sales opportunities.
• Perform branch operations (cash ordering, vault, ATM, wires).
• Process customer/account maintenance and AML/KYC activities.
• Follow compliance and risk controls; support brand and internal audits.
