• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of related work experience
• No professional designations required

Responsabilidades

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line phone system; provide information to new and existing patients, troubleshoot common issues, resolve queries with the team.
• Process branch duties: create and manage new orders, review systems, confirm delivery appointments, verify insurance, obtain authorization based on payor guidelines, monitor faxes, and perform data entry.
• Work with sales team, referrals and patients to gather documentation to meet insurance guidelines.
• Request health plan authorizations/information as required; electronically or verbally.
• Review patient accounts and bill insurance plans; collect payments and reconcile daily receivables.
• Perform outbound patient and referral satisfaction calls.
• May download data from devices such as apnea monitors and other respiratory equipment.
