Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Branch Coordinator in Charlottesville to deliver exceptional patient service by phone and in person. You will manage orders, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and ensure timely processing while collaborating with the care team to maximize coverage and service delivery.

As a key liaison among patients, providers and branch staff, you will collect payments, maintain accurate records, and support billing activities to ensure seamless care and adherence to payor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line phone system and provide information.
• Process branch duties: create and manage orders, verify insurance and authorizations, review referrals for billing.
• Gather documentation to meet insurance guidelines and obtain health plan authorizations as required.
• Review patient accounts and collect payments; reconcile daily receivables.
