Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Branch Coordinator to support patient and provider interactions, ensuring orders are received and processed accurately while assisting with insurance verification and billing.

The role involves handling in-person and phone inquiries, coordinating with the sales team, and ensuring documentation meets payor guidelines. A background in healthcare or office environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience in healthcare, office, or call center settings preferred.
• Experience using a multi-line phone system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients arriving in person.
• Handle inbound calls, provide information, troubleshoot issues, and escalate when needed.
• Process branch duties: create and manage orders, verify insurance, obtain authorization per payor guidelines.
• Gather documentation to meet insurance requirements and bill plans.
• Collect payments, reconcile receivables, and submit to lock box.
• Perform outbound patient and referral satisfaction calls.
• May assist with downloads of medical devices and basic equipment testing.
