Job summary

MSU Federal Credit Union is seeking a Financial Services Specialist to deliver personalized service at the Sashabaw and Ortonville Branches. You will assess members’ financial positions, recommend tailored solutions, and ensure accurate processing of transactions while promoting digital tools and services.

The role emphasizes member engagement, teamwork, and adherence to Credit Union procedures, with onsite work and a schedule including rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work during branch hours, including Saturdays, and to support other locations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities; willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Engage with members to understand financial needs and make tailored recommendations.
• Process transactions accurately and maintain high level of service.
• Cross-sell products and services to meet member goals and improve financial wellbeing.
• Monitor for red flags in transactions and escalate to Fraud as needed.
• Promote and educate members on Credit Union technology and digital tools.
• Contribute to a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
