Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation is seeking an Universal Banker to deliver exceptional service in our Feeding Hills branch. You will educate customers on Consumer and Business Banking options, process transactions, and support daily branch operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will engage customers, explain features, and refer digital solutions while following the bank's sales process and AML/KYC procedures to ensure secure, compliant interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with at least 1 year of retail sales, customer service, or telesales experience.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills for diverse customers.
• Ability to handle difficult conversations and maintain organized workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in-person in the branch lobby and during appointments.
• Identify customer needs and refer appropriate products and digital banking solutions.
• Process transactions accurately and support daily branch operations.
• Promote digital banking capabilities and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain AML/BSA/KYC awareness and comply with bank policies.
