FirstBank PR is seeking a Branch Assistant Manager to oversee the bank’s branch operations, sales, and service delivery with strong regulatory compliance. You will manage vaults, ATMs, account processing, and audits while driving cross-sell initiatives and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and five (5) years or more of experience in the operational or sales area of a Branch.
• Sixty (60) university credits (within the same concentration) with six (6) years or more of experience in the operational or sales area of a Branch.
• Accounting and Branch Operational knowledge.
• Computer literate in the use of MS Office.
• Administrative and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of banking regulations, such as, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act.
• Good analytical skills, multitask, organized, problem solving, goal oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare and to analyze reports.
• Driver License and car in good conditions.
• Available to work holiday days, weekends and flexible schedule. Alsoavailable to be transferredto other Branches within the geographical area.
• Bilingual, preferable

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage branch operations flow including vault, registers, ATMs, and others.
• Supervise ATM procedures and manage branch monetary values and vault controls.
• Collaborate on GL postings and ensure Check Change Policy compliance.
• Maintain and control branch accounts, collections, and documents.
• Investigate and test compliance with operational processes and regulations.
• Ensure adherence to Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee audits and revisions of branch processes and accounts.
• Verify accounts opened in conjunction with Branch Manager.
• Monitor overdraft accounts and prepare related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act, Truth in Lending, and related acts.
• Identify and implement cross-sell opportunities to grow the branch portfolio.
• Lead sales processes from start to finish, ensuring documentation accuracy.
• Support customer service excellence and complaint handling.
• Coordinate with administration to maintain security and order.
