Job summary

Les Schwab is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, alignment, and suspension systems while delivering exceptional customer care. You will install and test components, perform tire work, and support offsite and emergency road service when needed.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. On-the-job training is provided and full-time benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• Testing and installing batteries
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service
• Refs customers to other qualified employees as N/A

Pay and Benefits

$14.85 - $24.50 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
