Job summary

Les Schwab is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, while delivering excellent customer service. The role includes testing batteries, tire mounting, wheel balancing, TPMS recalibration, and driving service vehicles for offsite needs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tires and wheels, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use service equipment and hand tools.
• Assist other employees and test drive vehicles.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• Testing and installing batteries
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service
• Refs customers to other qualified employees as N/A

Pay and Benefits

$14.85 - $24.50 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
