Job summary

Les Schwab is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

You will perform battery testing, tire mounting/rebalancing, and TPMS work, use shop tools, test drive vehicles, and support offsite road service as needed. Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 75 pounds; occasional up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace/calibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assist other employees and test drive vehicles.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• Testing and installing batteries
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service
• Refs customers to other qualified employees as N/A

Experience

$14.85 - $24.50 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
