Les Schwab is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Idaho to service and install brake, suspension, and alignment components, ensuring quality work and customer satisfaction.

You will operate service vehicles as needed, handle related duties, and participate in on-the-job training offered by Les Schwab to develop skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 lbs and occasional lifting up to 75 lbs; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, suspension, and alignment parts and components.
• Test drive vehicles and operate service vehicles for offsite work.

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services. Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Pay and Benefits:

$14.85 - $24.50 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
