Job summary

Les Schwab in Utah is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service- and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, while delivering excellent customer service and following company policies.

You will install/repair hydraulic and electric brake systems, test batteries, perform tire mounting and TPMS calibration, and drive service vehicles as needed. Full-time roles come with benefits after eligibility and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service
• Refs customers to other qualified employees as N/A

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

Pay and Benefits

$14.85 - $24.50 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
