Job summary

Insomniac Music Group is seeking a Box Office Attendant to deliver high-level customer service for ticketing at box office and resolution areas. The role requires accuracy in processing will call orders, cash and card transactions, and friendly facilitation at events.

Ideal candidates have sales or customer service experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to remain professional in busy environments. The position is based in California with some travel to events as needed.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service-related work experience is preferred.
• Must feel comfortable with using a computer.
• Interact professionally with all levels of individuals in a courteous manner.
• Must be able to de-escalate situations before they become unpleasant.
• Employee must successfully complete a background investigation and post-offer drug/alcohol test.
• Employee must maintain and carry a valid driver’s license at all times.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in a training session for the Front Gate box office system to assist patrons with ticket orders.
• Identify a customer’s will call order by verifying information to correctly distribute tickets.
• Resolve ticket scanning issues at the gate in a timely and courteous manner.
• Accurately administer cash and credit card transactions with Front Gate POS system.
• Report to Box Office Management and assist as needed.
• Maintain a professional, upbeat attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide accurate information about the event and help attendees as required.
