Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is hiring servers to provide outstanding guest service, knowledge of the menu, and attentive hospitality. You will create personal, memorable experiences and build relationships with guests to encourage return visits.

Responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean, safe dining area while collaborating with team and management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness Certifications (if applicable).
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Learn and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn the restaurant POS system.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences.
• Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with quality customer service and knowledge of menu items.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, courteously, and accurately.
• Act as an advocate for the restaurant and create personal guest experiences.
• Develop relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits.
• Assist team while keeping areas clean, dry, and safe.
• Greet guests, attend to tables, take orders, and process payments.
• Learn product knowledge and wine/beverage options.
• Maintain communication with support staff and management.
• Perform sidework and station setup/breakdown as needed.
