Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a friendly server to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will greet guests, serve courses promptly, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of related experience, food and alcohol safety certifications, and a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related or supportive role preferred.
• Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Awareness Certification (if applicable).
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to learn, retain, and present menu and allergy information to guests.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn the Restaurant POS system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome restaurant guests.
• Deliver food to tables promptly and at proper temperature.
• Deposit dishes in dish-room or designated area.
• Clean and set tables according to standards; manage trash and bussing stations.
• Learn and maintain product knowledge of food, wine, and beverages.
• Clean stations, sweep floors, and maintain a tidy work area.
• Assist with buffet setup and replenishment as needed.
• Assist in Room Service if required.
• Help other staff with tasks; participate in trainings and meetings.
• Communicate effectively with staff and management.
