Job summary

CHANEL is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee and direct the boutique's operations, ensuring the smooth running of processes from inventory control to customer service. The role requires acting as the expert on SOPs, systems, and tools, and collaborating with the Home Office Retail Operations team to enhance efficiency.

The successful candidate will lead a team, drive a culture of feedback, and manage budgets and staffing to deliver an elevated client experience in a dynamic retail

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Boutique/retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own all operational functions within the Boutique, including Inventory Control, Shipping and Receiving, Alterations, Facilities Management, Security, Resource Planning/Staffing, Compliance, and Expense Management.
• Collaborate with Home Office Retail Operations team to develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on increasing operational efficiency.
• Lead all operationally aligned staff, coaching, and inspiring the team to deliver flawlessly.
• Foster a positive working environment and create a culture of feedback, encouraging diversity, mutual respect, and teamwork.
• Be the ultimate expert on Standard Operating Procedures, Systems and Tools to act as a resource for the Boutique Team.
• Manage a budget and forecast expenditures for the boutique.
