Job summary

CHANEL is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager for our boutique in New York. You will oversee daily operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, shipping/receiving, alterations, facilities, security, staffing, and budget adherence to deliver an elevated client experience.

You will partner with the Operations Manager and Boutique Leaders to implement SOPs, mentor staff, and drive process improvements in a dynamic luxury retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related experience in boutique/retail operations.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple operational functions and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control, shipping/receiving, alterations, facilities, security, staffing, compliance, and expense management.
• Collaborate with Home Office Retail Operations on strategic initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Lead and coach boutique staff to deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Serve as SOPs and systems expert for the boutique team and drive process improvements.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting expenditures for the boutique.
