Job summary

CHANEL is seeking a Group Director - Boutique Architecture - Operations in New York to lead the US Boutique Architecture team, shaping design, cost control, and project delivery for luxury retail spaces.

You will drive CAPEX planning, budget oversight, and process improvements across multiple boutiques, collaborating with finance, design and field teams to ensure on-time, on-budget installations while advancing sustainability and brand standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cost estimating, project management, architectural design, construction management or related industry.
• Strong understanding of architectural design and construction workflows.
• Ability to build and control construction budgets and estimate costs.
• Strategic thinking to align design and project goals with company strategy.
• Fluent in Teams, Excel and Smartsheet for project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Analyze budgets, project spend, vendors and consultants.
• Bring rigor and transparency to the bidding and construction process.
• Manage large number of projects simultaneously.
• Ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Maintain accuracy of information within current and future data sets.
• Evaluate, evolve, and maintain processes.
• Advise on carbon footprints and sustainability.
• Elevate Brand Image at point of sale.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Design, Architecture, Construction or related field
