Job summary

Lafayette 148 New York is seeking an Operations Assistant in the Town of Riverhead to support the sales floor and assist stylists with client relationships. You will help with stock flow, client appointments, and daily operational tasks to ensure a premium in-store experience.

The role requires at least an associate degree and two years of luxury retail experience, with strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive client satisfaction and store efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a luxury retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the entire sales team by expediting stock for stylists and assisting with client appointments.
• Deliver memorable in-store experiences and build relationships to drive repeat business.
• Resolve client issues with a proactive, client-focused approach.
• Process transactions and support selling process needs.
• Support store operations including opening/closing, inventory, and daily revenue reporting.
• Manage store transfers, RTVs, client send sales.
• Provide updates to stylists/management on stock and transfers.
• Coordinate alterations/repairs follow-up.
• Assist with stock room maintenance and organization.
