Lafayette 148 Outlet Stores are seeking a Sales Associate to uphold the brand image and cultivate client relationships while delivering elevated service. You will provide expert product advice and wardrobe solutions, contributing to memorable in-store experiences and achieving sales goals.

The role requires 3+ years in premium to luxury selling, a ready client base, and strong communication and tech skills. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is expected to support store needs.

Qualifications

Lafayette 148’s Outlet Stores sell post-season merchandise by providing clients with a tailored, elevated shopping experience. The Lafayette 148 Sales Associate represents the brand image and is responsible for establishing, maintaining and growing a client base to achieve sales goals. The Sales Associate provides expert product and wardrobing advice while delivering a memorable client experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain deep connection with clients and drives repeat business to achieve sales goals
• Consistently delivers memorable in store experiences to all clients; plans client appointments to maximize results
• Inform clients on in-store events and new product deliveries to enhance their experience and increase engagement
• Skilled at using multiple channels of technology to strengthen existing relationships and drive new client acquisition
• Possess broad range of product knowledge across all categories of the brand, takes initiative to stay informed to maximize selling potential
• Demonstrate the ability to address a client’s total wardrobe needs across all categories
• Inform clients on brand services to ensure they can enjoy all Lafayette 148 has to offer
• Always puts the client first when resolving issues, exceeding expectations
• Support the operational functions within the store, operational functions may include: opening/ closing procedures, inventory, and daily revenue reporting
• Maintain merchandising and visual presentation standards

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, climb stairs/ladders, and occasionally bend or kneel to access merchandise.

Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment; constant communication and visual focus required.

Occasionally lift, carry, or move merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 25 lbs.

Base Pay Range
The base pay range for this position is $18.00 - $ 20.00 hourly. Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, and location.
