The Steward/Potwasher/Warewasher position at Grand Bohemian Lodge Asheville, part of Kessler Hotels, supports kitchen cleanliness and safe storage of china, glass, and silver. The role assists kitchen staff with sanitation, proper storage, and rotation of supplies to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning ovens and equipment, maintaining kitchen areas, and supporting banquet and restaurant operations as needed, under Highgate Hotel standards and safe practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Flexibility with long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness in all kitchens, back dock, dumpster and utility work areas.
• Heavy duty cleaning of ovens, grills, sinks, walls, floors, walk-in refrigerators and freezers and other heavy kitchen equipment.
• Wash pots, pans, and kitchen utensils following proper procedure for their cleanliness and sanitation, and Vacuum carpeted areas through the food and beverage outlets.
