Highgate Hotels in Paradise Valley, AZ, is seeking a Steward/Potwasher/Warewasher to maintain cleanliness and proper storage of china, glass, and silver, and to assist with kitchen sanitation and organization.

The role requires standing for long shifts, lifting up to 100 pounds, and flexible hours; training and safety procedures are provided, with opportunities to support banquet service and restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel experience preferred.
• Flexible with long hours and varying shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand during shift and maintain posture.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standard of cleanliness in kitchens, back dock, dumpster and utility areas.
• Heavy cleaning of ovens, grills, sinks, walls, floors and walk-ins.
• Wash pots, pans and utensils; vacuum carpets in F&B outlets.
• Sweep, mop and wash floors in all kitchen and restaurant areas.
• Return clean items to storage with care to prevent breakage.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure sanitation.
• Follow proper safe handling of chemicals and report faulty equipment.
