Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent preferred and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
• Flexibility with long hours and shifts as required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with guests and staff.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor and comply with hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and order in kitchens, back dock, and utility areas.
• Perform heavy cleaning of ovens, grills, sinks, walls, floors, and other equipment.
• Wash pots, pans, and utensils; vacuum carpets in food and beverage areas.
• Sweep, mop and wash floors in all food and beverage areas and dock areas.
• Operate and maintain proper storage for china, glass, and silver; report faulty equipment.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down the restaurant buffet; support Banquets as needed.
