Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) is seeking a Hotel General Manager in the United States. The role requires 6+ years of experience managing full-service independent boutique hotels and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences while engaging with the local community.

You will oversee front office, housekeeping, rooms, food and beverage operations and serve as an ambassador of IRHG, embracing Internal Hospitality and leading with a servant mindset.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of successful experience managing full-service hotels.
• Ability to travel for training conferences, sales meetings, etc.
• Thrives in fast-paced and boutique hotel environments.
• Passion for Internal Hospitality and embracing core values.
• Strong problem resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for guest experience by leading a positive, collaborative, and respectful team environment.
• Oversee, maintain and manage food and service quality.
• Assess, implement and manage service standards with consistent procedures.
• Prepare annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions.
• Develop strategic objectives for recruitment, finance, legal, front office, housekeeping, and restaurant operations.
• Forecast financial trends to manage labor, COGs, food and beverage costs.
• Partner with Senior Leadership to maintain a positive, collaborative environment.
• Lead by example and uphold health, safety and cleanliness standards.
