Job summary

Grand Bohemian Lodge Asheville, part of Kessler Hotels, seeks a Guest Service Agent to deliver attentive, courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout. You will maximize occupancy, assist guests with inquiries, and coordinate with departments to ensure a refined experience in a boutique setting.

The role requires a friendly demeanor, effective communication, and the ability to multitask across front desk duties in a luxurious environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer services experience preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests at the Front Desk per hotel standards.
• Maintain PBX console operation and ensure standards are met.
• Answer inquiries about services, facilities and hours.
• Log and deliver packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
• Balance and prepare paperwork for shift closing.
• Be familiar with rates, packages, and promotions in the Red Book.
• Support guest needs with safe, courteous service.
