Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management's Zelda Dearest hotel in Asheville is seeking a Guest Service Agent to welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, and create memorable arrivals. You’ll coordinate with departments to ensure seamless stays and provide local recommendations.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities; high school diploma preferred.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to use a moderately complex computer system and input information accurately.
• Clear English communication, both written and verbal, with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests with genuine, personalized hospitality.
• Completing guest check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately.
• Provide personalized service while walking guests to their guest room.
• Answering questions about the hotel, Asheville attractions, restaurants, and local events.
• Handling reservations, room assignments, and guest requests.
• Resolving guest concerns professionally and with empathy.
• Coordinating with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate guest records.
