Job summary

Richemont North America, Inc. is seeking a Chloé Boutique Director to act as the first ambassador of the Maison and owner of the boutique business.

The role leads by example on the shop floor, drives CRM initiatives, and develops a high‑performing team focused on client relationships and exceptional service. The Director ensures omnichannel engagement, sets monthly and quarterly targets, and implements action plans aligned with the Maison strategy while maintaining awareness of the local market

Qualifications

  • Five+ years of retail management experience with a focus on concession business management.
  • Ten+ years of luxury retail experience.
  • Operationally strong with ability to translate strategies into operational plans.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and sales skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to initiate and develop long‑term client relationships.
  • Set up and monitor CRM targets for the boutique and stylists; drive actions to reach them.
  • Oversee omnichannel services and ensure alignment with Maison strategy and plans.
  • Organize energizing briefings, coach the team, and manage recruitment and development.

Role Overview

A Chloé Boutique Director is the first ambassador of the Maison, in charge of welcoming every guest into the Chloé family. A leader to their team, the Chloé boutique director is the owner of their boutique’s business.

A Client Champion
  • Leads the team to initiate and develop long‑term relationships with clients.
  • Sets up and monitors CRM targets for the boutique and per stylists and implements all actions to reach them.
  • Coordinates contact campaigns and supervises use of all CRM tools.
  • Supervises client database, and in particular knows VIC clients of the store.
  • Proactively proposes activities to meet/exceed clients’ expectations.
An Omnichannel Business Owner
  • Leads by example and supervises sales on the floor to improve business performance and customer service.
  • Ensures full engagement of the team with omnichannel services offered by the Maison.
  • Creates monthly, quarterly and yearly action plans to improve business in line with the Maison strategy and adjusts based on performance analysis.
  • Sets up and monitors retail targets for the boutique and per stylists, actively participates in commercial activities and proactively proposes new ideas to improve business.
  • Is aware of local trading environment and competitors’ activities.
A Team Leader
  • Organizes energizing team briefings and ensures consistently high level of motivation.
  • Performs individual monthly and yearly performance assessments with all team members.
  • Shadows sales on the floor to coach the team, identifies training needs, implements training, and leads individual development plans with consistent follow‑up.
  • Leads recruitment and induction of the team and ensures successful coordination with the HR department.
  • Leads by exemplarity, ensures good team spirit, and translates the Chloé attitude of entrepreneurship, togetherness, excellence, creativity and positive impact.
  • Is an active member of the Store Managers’ community: shares best practices, asks and provides support.
  • Is able to work open availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
An Operations Excellence Supervisor
  • Supervises impeccable boutique environment.
  • Proactively liaises with operations or retail managers for repairs or to suggest improvements in operations, processes or more globally on boutique environment.
  • Ensures implementation of all guidelines related to store, BOH management and sustainability.
  • Manages payroll, expenses and stock management.
  • Oversees compliance of established Richemont policies and standards.
  • Must be able to lift at least 20lbs as needed.
Qualifications
  • At least five years of retail management experience with a specific focus on concession business management.
  • Minimum ten years of experience in luxury retail.
  • Operationally strong, able to translate strategies into operational plans.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit, leadership skills and sales skills.
  • Team player with good interpersonal competences and empathy.
  • Excellent communicator, passionate about building relationships and networking, with strong social skills.
  • Ability to positively lead, coach and develop talents / team members from different backgrounds.
  • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends and react quickly to the needs of the business.
  • Strong sense for client satisfaction, luxury experience, etiquette, and human behavior.
