Job summary

U.S. Customs and Border Protection seeks Border Patrol Agents (BPA) across multiple duty locations.

You will join the Federal Law Enforcement Officer cadre, performing border security, immigration enforcement, and safety operations with readiness to work in dynamic field conditions. Qualifications

• KSAOs include knowledge of Immigration and Nationality Law
• Knowledge of the Use of Force Policy
• Knowledge of Criminal Law and Procedure
• Skills in Using Physical Techniques and Firearms
• Skills in Basic Operation of a Motor Vehicle

Responsibilities

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of immigration and customs violations
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers
• Interpreting evidence of illegal entry
• Performing farm, building, traffic, city, and transportation checks
• Patrolling borders using various assets to fulfill the USBP mission
