Qualifications

• One year of general work experience demonstrating decision making and composure under stress.
• Bachelor’s degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study.
• Combination of experience and education may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws and inspecting documents.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers.
• Interpreting evidence of illegal entry and pursuing enforcement actions.
• Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, and patrols.
• Patrolling international boundaries using various assets to fulfill CBP mission.
