Job summary

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hiring Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) across multiple duty locations in the United States. The role involves enforcing immigration and customs laws, conducting vehicle and pedestrian checks, and patrolling borders with a variety of assets.

Qualifications

• One year of general work experience or a bachelor's degree as eligible for GL-5; recruitment and retention incentives may apply.

• Combination of experience and education may qualify for higher grades.

Responsibilities

• Preventing and apprehending noncitizens and smugglers near borders.
