Customs and Border Protection is hiring Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) across the United States. BPAs serve as Federal Law Enforcement Officers protecting the nation while upholding immigration and customs laws.

The role offers competitive base pay, robust federal benefits, and strong job stability in a nationwide network. Selected candidates may begin at GL-5, GL-7, GL-9 or GS-11 with potential promotion to GS-12, and can qualify for recruitment incentives up to $20,000 plus an additional $30,000

Competenze

• One year of general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge and maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study from an accredited college or university; OR
• A combination of general work experience AND college education, evaluated via resume/transcripts.

Mansioni

• Detect and question people suspected of immigration and customs violations and inspect documents to determine citizenship or violations.
• Prevent undocumented noncitizens and smugglers from entering near borders using surveillance and night operations.
• Interpret tracks, marks and evidence of illegal entry or contraband to guide enforcement actions.
• Patrol the international boundary and coastal waterways using diverse assets to fulfill the USBP Mission.
