Qualifications

• One year of general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge and learn regulations.
• Bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field.
• Combination of experience and education may qualify.
• Specialized experience required for higher grades (GL-7/GL-9/GS-11).

Responsabilités

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspect documents.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance.
• Interpret tracks, marks, and physical evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
• Perform farm, building, traffic, city, and transportation checks.
• Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using various assets.
