U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hiring Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) in multiple entry and mid-level grades. The role emphasizes law enforcement duties, border protection, and public safety across designated duty locations in the United States.

Formación

• Knowledge of immigration and nationality law and related policies.
• Familiarity with use of force rules and procedures.
• Understanding of criminal law and investigative procedures.
• Proficiency with firearms and safety protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Detect and interview individuals suspected of immigration or customs violations.
• Maintain surveillance and use standard assets to monitor border activity.
• Interpret tracks, evidence, and documents to determine eligibility.
• Conduct checks on farms, traffic, city, and transportation nodes.
• Patrol borders and waterways using vehicles and equipment.
