U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hiring Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) across the United States. This full-time federal position offers a stable career path with comprehensive benefits and multiple duty locations.

Starting at GL-5 to GS-11 levels, BPAs may advance with promotion potential to GS-12, with incentives to recruit and retain qualified personnel. Newly appointed BPAs can receive recruitment incentives and retention incentives, along with health, dental, and other federal

Formación

• One year of general work experience or education that demonstrates ability to learn regulations and procedures.
• Bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study.
• Combination of general work experience and education considered for qualification.

Responsabilidades

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of immigration and customs violations.
• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
• Interpreting tracks, marks and evidence of illegal entry.
• Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks and patrols.
• Patrolling borders using varied government assets to fulfill the USBP mission.
