Job summary

Belk in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Merchandising Team Manager to lead a team executing store operations, merchandising, and facilities to deliver a superior customer experience and drive sales.

You will coordinate with operations, visual merchandising, and selling teams to maintain elevated store presentations, manage inbound and outbound deliveries, inventory accuracy, and labor planning while coaching associates for performance and growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Ability to apply analytics and judgment to business decisions.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in back-of-house operations and prepare outbound shipments.
• Direct front-of-house operations including product placement and signage.
• Collaborate with selling and visual teams on merchandising and planograms.
• Plan weekly leadership workload and forecast receipts and labor needs.
• Coach and develop associates to achieve store goals and performance.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain store talent to ensure bench readiness.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and asset protection compliance.
