Job summary

Belk is seeking a Merchandising Team Manager to lead a team in store operations, merchandising, and facilities. You will coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure optimal store presentation, pricing accuracy, and customer experience, while supporting inventory and fulfillment processes.

You will drive weekly planning, coach associates, and foster a culture of excellence and teamwork. This exempt role offers monthly bonus eligibility and opportunities to impact key store metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must regularly move around store areas and lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Own store objectives and key metrics, driving profitability.
• Lead back-of-house operations: receiving, inbound/outbound deliveries, stock replenishment, and store fulfillment.
• Manage front-of-house operations: product placement, floor sets, pricing, promotions, audits, and customer service.
• Collaborate with selling and visual teams to maintain merchandise presentations per planograms and standards.
• Plan weekly leadership workload, forecast receipts, and labor hours.
